Turn a pet directory into a useful location-aware mobile product.

The client needed more than a mobile directory. PetForce1 had to become a location-aware product where users could explore nearby services, review reports, publish new content and manage their account with minimal friction. The key challenge was combining maps, permissions, authentication, search and detailed forms into a simple mobile experience.

Build around the core mobile journeys users repeat most.

The work started from the product flows that mattered most: map exploration, service discovery, report search, content creation and profile management. Expo Router provided a clean navigation structure, Zustand kept global state lightweight, and API communication was centralized through a secure Axios client. The implementation focused on reliability, permissions, data loading states and consistent UI patterns.

A cross-platform app for maps, reports, services and secure user flows.

The final product is a React Native Expo app for iOS and Android featuring an interactive map, markers for services and reports, text and chip-based search, report creation, service creation, image uploads, login, registration, password recovery and personal content management. Authentication is handled through Laravel Sanctum using Bearer tokens stored securely on device.

A practical mobile product ready for real users

The project delivered a complete and scalable mobile foundation for PetForce1. The client received a working iOS and Android product with location-based discovery, secure user flows and content management features aligned with the business goal: making pet-related services and reports easier to find, publish and manage.
