Context

PetForce One brings an animal-focused ecosystem to mobile: reports of lost, found and sighted animals, plus services such as vets, boarding, groomers and pet-friendly beaches.

I am responsible for the mobile app and its integration with the existing Laravel backend API. The project is coming soon and is not yet presented as a finished public product.

Problem

A directory was not enough. Users needed to explore what is nearby, search content, file reports and manage their own information in a simple mobile flow.

Solution

I am building a cross-platform app with map, search, authentication and content creation.

  • Shared iOS and Android app with React Native and Expo, in strict TypeScript.
  • Map with geolocation, reports and services, filterable by category and radius: eleven report categories and thirteen service categories.
  • Nearby report and service lists with text search, distance in kilometres and microchip lookup.
  • Report and service submission with address or GPS position, animal details, up to three photos and contacts. Publication goes through approval in the backend.
  • Login, sign-up with email verification, password recovery and management of your own content: states, editing and deletion.
  • Integration with the Laravel backend API and Sanctum token authentication, with tokens kept in the device’s secure storage.

Result

The project has a single technical foundation for Android and iOS and location-centred flows. Since it is still coming soon, no usage results or metrics are claimed.

Serious, reliable, and very helpful professional. I started collaborating with him on the recommendation of a web agency to develop an application. I am very satisfied with his work and support. As far as I’m concerned, there is a strong foundation for a long-term collaboration, and I recommend him for the range of professional values he brings to the table.
